In these sources the radioactive material is placed between two thin sheets of polyamide with a certain diameter, then subjected to appropriate heat for a period of time to becomes impermeable. Finally, the assembly is pressed inside a two-piece aluminium rings. These sources are available with radioactivity of 100 Bq to 100 MBq
