Irradiated natural iridium metal with a specific radiation of at least 350 Ci/gr supplied as a disc and placed inside austenitic stainless steel capsules (316L, 321, 304, 316) with a special design and then welded. Then tested for leakage according to ISO 9978 and national standard 11038. These capsules are available with radioactivity of 20 Ci to 130 Ci and half-life of 74 days with an average energy of 450 Kev
